The “Healing Hands Clinic” started in 2008 at Good Shepherd’s Health and Technology Center by Dr. Jay Talsania, Dr. Richard Battista, and Dr. Patrick McDaid of OAA.  Currently, its continued by Dr. Talsania and Dr. McDaid. The surgeons examine as many as a dozen patients at each clinic and when necessary, operate at no fee.

The clinic takes children and adults covered by insurance or not.

Although the surgeons will waive their fees for clinic patients, there may charges for follow-up X-rays at imaging centers and surgery suites at hospitals.

Good Shepherd provides the space and some staff to support the clinic.
